Ferie secolare : Lo Shabdrung (o Zhabdrung) è lo stirpe più importante del tulku, equivalente allo stirpe di Dalai Lama del Tibet. Il fondatore del paese, Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal (1594 - 1651), era il primo di questo stirpe. Era il primo per unificare i regni facenti la guerra secondo una singola regola. Lo Shabdrung è terza personalità più importante dietro il guru Rimpoche ed il Buddha.
